Whatever shall I do?
Good Day!
I have full access to your account: At the time of hacking your
account ([ out of date Chariotoflove work email] ) had this password: [password I had 10 years ago for something]
I’ve been watching you for a two months now.
The reality is that you were damaged with malware through an adult site that you visit.
If you are not familiar with this, I will explain.
Trojan virus gives me full access and control over a computer or other device.
This means that I can see everything on your pc, turn on the camera and
microphone, but you do not know about it.
I also have access to all your contacts and all your correspondence.
I made a video showing how you satisfy yourself in the left half of the screen, and
in the right half you see the video that you watched.
With one click of the mouse, I can send this video to all your emails and contacts
on social networks.
I can also post access to all your e-mail correspondence and messengers that you use.
If you want to prevent this,
transfer the amount of $607 to my bitcoin address (if you do not know how to do
this, write to Google: “Buy Bitcoin”).
My bitcoin address BTC Wallet is: 1A2wsuXTcHAVSnYT1YZpKoEyY49GmYq8pU
After receiving the pay, I will delete the profs and you will never hear me again.
I give you 48 hours to pay.
I have a notice reading this email, and the timer will work when you see this email.
Filing a complaint somewhere does not make sense because this email cannot be
tracked like my bitcoin address.
I do not make any mistakes.
If I find that you have shared this mail with someone else, the profs will be
immediately distributed.
Best regards!
At least this Fleur person is polite while extorting me.

serves you right for watching porn

Lies. If he had access to your accounts, Deadspin would have bought your nudes by now.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:00 |

Even worse, they know you spend time on Oppo.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:02 |

Ooooh I love scammers.
I’d either repackage the email and send it back to them using a different address or just waste their time as much as I can.
“Hello, I wrote to Google “ Buy Bitcoin” and sent it in the mail, I’ll let you know when I get a letter back”.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:02 |

I got the same email a few days ago. We must be on the same list.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:04 |

I can't wait to receive your video!
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:04 |

Lot of assumptions there, eh?
I mean, valid ones, but still.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:04 |

GASP. Man watches porn and satisfies himself for the first time in the history of world.
Better pay the man 607 dollars or else we will know you do it...
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:05 |
|
And they have split screen video of me masturbating to a ‘ 58 Impala, apparently.

![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:05 |

Then you’re sympathetic. So, can I borrow $607? I’ m good for it.

“This means that I can see everything on your pc, turn on the camera and
microphone, but you do not know about it”
I mean, you do know about it, because they just told you. Right?
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:06 |

Thank you for greatly overestimating the value of nude pics of me.

I like this strategy. I did it with an African scammer a while back. Strung him along for a good week or so, too. Unfortunately, I’m crushed at work now, or I’d think of this as an opportunity.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:07 |

huh....
i should take a look at my email again some day...
i just see 1700 unread emails and think... eh.. if its important they’ll call me *closes mail*
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:08 |

Stay glued to my Myspace page!
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:09 |

I got a similar one the other day, but the message displayed mostly as a series of pictures instead of text:
(EDIT: Apparently,
Kinja doesn’t want to show the pics, and I’m not going to type it all out manually.)
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:09 |

A more lucrative strategy would be to threaten the rest of the world with releasing the video and make everyone else pay to not have to see it.

“... this email cannot be
tracked like my bitcoin address...”
You should respond telling him that you have traced him through his bitcoin address, and that you have a particular set of skills. You don’t need to tell him that those particular skills are watching porn and masturbating furiously though, he already knows that. Leaving it open ended might lead him to think you’ve got other skills too.

Who can resist the temptation of all that chrome and a big block 348 engine?
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:10 |

Now my head is spinning.

You are my people.

Stop it, I’m getting erect again!

I guess that’s the digital version of cutting out letters from a magazine for a ransom note?

You just fucked yourself, the professors have been distributed...

I know, the camera turned itself on
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:22 |

You know I always do!
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:24 |

I’d pay a dollar to not have to see that.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:29 |

While what you got is obviously a scam we recently had a breach at work. Apparently the hacker (or whatever you call it) got access to a few people’s work computers and had actually sent a photo of someone working in their home office through the webcam. At least a dozen people also had their automatic paycheck disbursement changed. Crazy stuff.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:29 |

Sort of? Except that images could have metadata, while plain text is plain text. Let me try copying the pic again, but this time via a cropped screenshot instead:

Maybe Jezebel? They only have problems with leaking nudes of women. When it’s men, they mock them for a few weeks.

...and your fettish for high end Kia’s is now revealed for all to see...
![]() 03/06/2019 at 14:57 |

Unfortunately, they spoof the e-mail address so it appears to be coming from your own account (oh, no!). I looked at the headers on the one I received and it originated in Myanmar, but that is likely a bot server and the real culprit is somewhere else.

This is entertaining . I should check my spam folder more often.

Adult sites are dangerous. This is why you should stick to kid sites.
(edit) that uh... Might have came out wrong
![]() 03/06/2019 at 15:08 |

I also have received this scam. Several months back.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 15:08 |

I got so fed up with those Microsoft T
ech Support scam calls I loaded a VM Machine full of zip bombs that looked like financial data and let them remote in. They never ca
lled again.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 15:58 |

Yeah, these are pretty common now. It's very easy for them to get ahold of your old passwords from websites that have been compromised in the past. It's why I try to use unique passwords.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:06 |
|
Tell them you’re a minor and you’ve reported them to the FBI for making and distributing child pornography.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:13 |
|
I’m used to being passed around anyway.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:14 |

Now you’re cyberstalking me, and that’s just creepy, ‘cause you’re married.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:14 |
|
Exactly.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:15 |

It is crazy, and weird stuff is possible. That’s why people get scammed. They don’t necessarily know what to believe.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:16 |
|
Yep, that’s the form letter.
Except I only have to pay $607. Sucker.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:18 |

If they want me mocked by Jezebel, all they need to is post something with my name on it. No pic needed.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:25 |

It’s all ok - I’m just doing it for the money.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:27 |

Dammit.
At least dragon ning doesn’t have the stigma it used to.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:32 |

The thing is, the server filters hold out a lot of spam, like Facebook notifications. Then something like this arbitrarily gets through.

![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:37 |

And yet I didn’t see any questionable posts of you in your Galaxie, so clearly an idle threat.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:37 |

I’m much better at passwords now than I was 10 years ago. Thank goodness.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:38 |
|
Well I act like I’m 12 sometimes, so that’s not entirely incorrect anyway.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:39 |
|
Guess you’d better send me your bitcoin account then.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 16:40 |

That sounds like fun.

The one on mine was crafted to look like it came from the University of Rochester.

Your courage in light of this devastating news is an inspiration!
![]() 03/06/2019 at 18:28 |

I laugh at these frequently. Some random old garbage password is always included because reasons. Little do they know that none of my desktops have cameras, I don’t watch porn, and my laptop hasn’t been used in months.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 18:45 |
|
Well, I always did want a career in internet porn, and this could be my big break.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 18:48 |
|
Well that makes you effectively Amish and therefore very hard to extort.
![]() 03/06/2019 at 18:49 |
|
Good job making lemonade when life gave you lemons!
Internet porn...do you think there’s a market for that?
![]() 03/06/2019 at 18:52 |
|
There’s a market for porn of anything (Rule 34), but I’m pretty sure the one for porn involving me is a tiny niche.
![]() 03/07/2019 at 04:44 |

i don't get spam like this thankfully

Your filters must be good. Or everyone thinks you’re broke.
